I know those streets, having lived in WeHo and then HH from 1994-1998, saw the video of Sunset backed up, and yeah, NOT a good situation if a fire did happen to spread down into the streets, for example, the embers setting trees on fires or hitting roofs. Especially Laurel Canyon, which is hilly, twisty and windy, and kind of a country road in the middle of LA. Downright dangerous actually.
Most of my colleagues have power again. However, much sadness because areas they knew well (or lived in) are gone, like Altadena.
