(LC) has a son in one of the LA suburbs; I was leaving just as she came in, so I don't know what his status is. Good church friend has a friend (whom I've met a few times--she's a sweetie) who has a son in Glendale. He and his emotional support dog got the order to evacuate around 11:00 and went to a friend's house about 30 minutes away but around 4:30, the son and his friend were forced to evacuate the friend's house. Fortunately, there was another friend further away willing to take them all in for the time being.
