It started to snow a little before 9:00 as I was leaving for mass. I went back inside and got out a pair of gloves and raced off. It's now after 1:00 and it's still snowing. It starting to stick to the ground. The solar panels are covered. Glad I'm grid-tied. The dogs are enjoying themselves. Looking forward to seeing the mountains when this stops. (This is our water for the summer.)
In remodeling news:
Nobody came by today, but I knew/guessed that because my contact person said he'd send me an e-mail a day before someone is scheduled to come work on the house. No idea when someone will arrive to work on the light switches. The new light remotes haven't yet. I'm 99.99999% sure, based on a YouTube video, that I can program the remotes myself once the switches are installed.
No quote from the landscaper about the patio. I like his idea and he expanded a bit on the idea. I'm hoping to get it soon so we can make a plan. No quote from my former contractor either.
It's weird being able to stand in the new, enclosed room and watch the snow fall without having to put on a jacket and gloves. I like it.
I made another payment on the remodeling project. Only less than $5K left on the job. It should be done by the middle of next month. I can make it.
