Today, at mass, our pastor announced that our parish is going to get a Jubilee Door!!!!!!!

Every 25 years, the pope announces a theme and a year of Jubilee. This year is called "The Jubilee of Hope" with the official signage and stuff as "Jubilee 2025 - Pilgrims of Hope."

My parish will get to have one of the doors for the Jubilee, so people can go on a pilgrimage to that location instead of having to go to the cathedral or the Vatican to get special blessings. The last time there was a jubilee, when Pope John Paul II was still pope, we had to go to the cathedral, about an hour and a half away, to participate.

It's a great honor to get a door. I'm so thrilled. A lot of great things have happened with my parish lately. Trying not to scream. I'm soooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!
