the roads were just wet. SM was a little terse with me this morning but she wasn't oblivious enough to say anything. I found out from another co-worker later that a) the store only made about $400 all day yesterday and b) there was absolutely no need for me yesterday since there were so few shoppers. A few people braved going out to dinner last night and did a little shopping beforehand (we often get people "browsing" while waiting for their table at one of the nearby restaurants).
In the 7 hours I was at work today, we had maybe 8 people come in. A couple bought one item (ironically, both ladies bought a single pair of earrings that were on clearance). A couple were just coming in to warm up. The rest were returning things. I wasn't really needed today either.
About an hour before I left for the day, the snow picked up. The roads going home were lightly snow-covered and a little slick but not terribly so, and visibility was slightly better.
