So she went to Sony to file a complaint instead. Sony told her that they couldn't control the issue and she needed to take it up with Wayfarer, and so she subsequently had what appears to be multiple meetings, including two big ones in November and January. As long as she has receipts to back this up, which I think she almost certainly does given this legal document, it seems like Blake really tried to handle this quietly and was rebuffed. So then she called in bigger honchos and got some level of agreement for protection onset, but still felt not enough had been done to correct Justin's behavior. And then, when people started noticing that the whole cast and the author had unfollowed Justin and weren't doing promo work (which none of them were under any obligation to promote the film beside him if even half of this document is true), he hired the PR firm, completely changed the plan for promoting the film behind her back to make sure she'd be received negatively, and went scorched earth.
I'm glad to see this particular firm take so much heat, though. I've been disgusted by them on multiple occasions. This is Brad Pitt's PR team. AKA the team that put out so many obviously fake stories about how Shiloh desperately wanted to live with her father and was planning to move in with him when she turned 18 that she ended up asking to have his name legally removed from hers ON HER 18TH BIRTHDAY. Just to make it really clear how much she wanted to cut ties with him. The stories they put out about Angelina are bad enough, but to involve his children in fake stories to try and make him look better...despicable. No wonder most of his kids have openly expressed a desire to change their names.
