and I don’t think it mattered that I had never read David Copperfield, in case anyone is wondering whether they need to read one before the other. I’ve read enough Charles Dickens to know that he knew how to write about poverty.
I’ve read most of Kingsolver’s books. My favorites are The Poisonwood Bible and Prodigal Summer, but I too really enjoyed Demon Copperhead and The Lacuna. I still need to read Flight Behavior and Unsheltered.
Those are all on my list of books to read. I’ll read anything she’s written. I’ll likely read Prodigal Summer soon since I have a copy.
