In her mind, anyone over the age of 12 wasn't going T&Ting for candy, it was to Get Into Trouble and certainly HER children were NOT going to be out and about Getting Into Trouble.

that was a hallmark of my childhood - random things my mother thought were "just asking for trouble" so they were not allowed.

Trick or Treating and mini skirts. lol god forbid a bared midriff!
