choices of other people and that's specifically what I'm referring to. It only impacts the couple who make that decision -- they either get the benefits or they don't. I can't say it's overwhelming, but I know a lot of people who get treated differently by their families because they don't want to get married -- usually for financial reasons. They don't want to drop $10k on a wedding.
