Bottom of the 10th inning in LA, Yankees up 3-2, the Dodgers have 2 outs, we’re one out away from winning the first game, which has been close all night until now — when the Dodgers load the bases and win the game with a walkoff homerun, apparently the first walkoff homerun in the history of the World Series. 😱 After all these years, “firsts” are still happening in baseball.
I couldn’t help thinking (after screaming in frustration) that our Esther would have loved last night’s game. ❤️
Hopefully, we bounce back tonight.
