Though Leia is doing a
fantastic job keeping us updated, sometimes the shows I care about aren't popular enough to get a mention.
Doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion in the TV thread lately beyond Survivor and 9-1-1. Which is a tad strange. Fall TV season launched weeks ago. Where is errbody at?
I watch exclusively network TV, mostly because the only streaming service I have is Netflix and I don't watch very many originals on it (I've already dropped down to the ad-supported tier at $6.99/month and am strongly considering dropping Netflix altogether as changing my plan caused me to no longer be able to watch through my ancient Blu-Ray connected to the living room TV, and my even more ancient TV doesn't support apps). AFAIK, the only show I watch that's had its fall premiere is Bob's Burgers, and it's been...strange. So far, it feels like they're going more for "touching" than funny, and while they're doing a good job (the episode recently where Regular Size Rudy was freaking out about his dad looking bad in front of his mom's new boyfriend was pretty poignant, especially after the episode last season where he was trying to entertain both parents and their new partners), it's not as much "must see TV" as it used to be for me. I believe Ghosts and Night Court haven't premiered yet. Not sure about the last season of The Connors, which I will be hate-watching. I *think* the only drama I'm watching these days is FOX's Alert: Missing Persons Unit, and it's scheduled for a midseason replacement this season.
