as did most of her high school classmates, so her class decided to throw themselves a joint 70th birthday party, which I think is a super cool idea.
However...her visit is not at a great time. Bff and I are doing a second craft show this Saturday. I've been frantically making some Halloween and fall-themed beads and bracelets and would like to make a few Christmas ones as well but I'm running out of time. I'm working tonight and going over to Sis' Airbnb afterwards for a drink (alcohol for everyone else, tea for me). Saturday, I tried to get off work and couldn't (that's a subject for another post...actually, I think I ranted to poor Kitchop about that earlier) so I will be getting up early to set up and work the craft show, then leaving bff around 2:00 so I can work my shift.
We're already starting the "who can get together when" thing. Bro is a teacher and is really only available Friday night-Sunday night. His daughter can only get together Friday and Saturday as long as it's morning or afternoon...I'm working Friday morning, after not working the last 8 or so Fridays (of course--I know it's not on purpose but I *swear* my work schedule for the last couple weeks plus next week was designed to be as inconvenient for me as possible) and of course Saturday is a no-go for both Sis and me. Don't know about nephew's schedule...Niece suggested we come to the restaurant she's working at Monday night for their jazz night; Bro can't come, plus the restaurant she works at is...not cheap.
I'm sure things will eventually work out, and if nothing else, I'll be seeing Sis tonight and likely (hopefully) all day Monday when I'm off. But man, trying to work with everyone's schedules, including Sis' (she'll be visiting with some friends while up here) is exhausting!
