When workers get a raise, people assume the consumer will pay for that raise when that raise should come from the employers’ outrageous top exec salaries and the company’s profit margin.

Where IS the money coming from for that raise? Yes, I assume consumers will pay for it. And yes, that raise absolutely should come from the employers' top exec salaries and the profit margin. But do I think that will happen? Not for a second.
