Dear Class of 2037...HAHAHAHAHA
The money in your flexible spending account is pretax. You will have a bit less money in each 2025 paycheck, * * * BUT * * * This will equal a 28% discount on ortho costs. 28% of $2280.00 is $638.40! (Thanks Mr Jag. I would use the calculator app, but that just rolled off his tongue. Tell me you are a math nerd without telling me you are a math nerd, spouse o' mine!). Paying off the ortho bill in one payment will *COST YOU* 28%, Kris. We beg you to add the money to your flexible spending account. Please feel no pressure to do it for yourself...do it for us! :D We desperately want you to know how much happiness paying off ortho bills with pretax dollars brings. HAHAHAHA Two daughters, one oral surgery at 12 yr old (oldest Jaggett) because nine baby teeth refused to fall out, two pallet expanders, two sets of braces, two parents listening to daughters complain/cry because they hated their braces (but wanted straight teeth!). Mr jag has requested I include that Oldest Jaggett's inherited horse teeth are from his side of the family, AND "28% is a lot of hay!".
I wish I could remember how to insert an emoji on here because it would be a line of laughing faces LOL
*marked spoiler due to my guest co-writer ~ Mr Jag. I never saw this collaboration coming, but then again, my husband loves the benefits of an FSA! I know this man like we've been together for 36 years. :D
I will be taking more out of the FSA! In return, Mr. Kris gets to pay the after school for all of next year, lol. Open Enrollment starts Tuesday so this was the perfect time to get this advice, and the best time to get this work started!
Thanks again!
