I've never even been all that into purses. Up until maybe 15 years ago, I swore I was missing the "girl gene" since I didn't really care about purses (or shoes). But now that I've owned a couple inexpensive bags that got me compliments from strangers, and were just the right size, I'm much more fond of purses. Still not into shoes that much, though that's less about appearance and more because I'm an awkward size in shoes (10W...and lately, I'm thinking I might be a 10WW).
