these are places that have been around for YEARS but I've never been. one is a bfast & lunch only place, and I had been told for years that they are "expensive" but the prices were very much in line with every other lunch place around here.
the other is called a Mercantile, and it serves bfast, lunch, coffee and ice cream. they are open 9-5 Tuesday - Saturday. what a cute place! what absolutely DELICIOUS iced coffee!!
Since my dad died in December, I've been trying to get her to come down to see me at least once a month for lunch. over the summer, the twins came with her, so it was nice to have our inaugural FALL lunch at someplace new. We liked both places enough to go back next month.
i hate figuring out what to eat for lunch every day. there are so many days I just end up having a bowl of cereal or a can of soup because I just cannot be bothered to figure it out, leave the house or god-forbid MAKE something - but I can order ONLINE from the sandwich place and go pick it up!
