parents ever had. They never had one when they lived where there are cold winters. I think it was my dad who just always wanted a fireplace.

As for hiring people to stack your wood for you, I think we all have things that we, at a certain age, suddenly feel like it’s worth paying someone to do for us rather than doing it ourselves. When I was young, I moved myself with the help of friends. Then, at some later point, it seemed crazy to do anything but hire professional movers.
