I am sooo glad they removed some of the icky, really creepy, groomer stuff re: Hansu and Sunja. It was already bad enough, but in the book? OMFG. Yikes. I was shocked at how he groomed and stalked her.
(but the actor playing him is freaking GORGEOUS. The character is supposed to very handsome. He's very nice to look at, even if his character is a bad, bad man).
Isak also appears much earlier in the book and is a bigger character than in the show. She really did marry someone who matched her father in terms of his integrity and kindness. He taught her well; both her parents were stellar people. :)
