the infection to spread to my entire eyelid.

but for standard styes, yes, warm compresses are part of the treatment.

and once the infection is gone and the redness has disappeared, the eye dr might have me start them up again, to clear up the remainder of this 'inner stye' that I have.

it feels a LOT better today than it has since last week, which is good.
