I remember when Prince changed his name to a symbol and was "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince".
I didn't know "Let's Go Crazy" until 2016 when he passed away, but I remember him being on the radio a ton when I started listening to pop and not just country in the early 1990s.
That said, I knew the name Sheila E., but I didn't know her connection to Prince or exactly who she was until last year when I read Sinéad O'Connor's book.
