(the 84 year old dynamo) and AGAIN she brought in a bag of clothing she didn't want. There's only, I think, three of us that wear the same size as her; B took one shirt, I'm returning a jean jacket (weird details), a pink shirt with black cuffs (cute but the pink is too peach for me), a black and white stripe top with white cuffs and a white hem (looks almost like a shirt with a blouse underneath but no blouse collar...no thanks), a floral 3/4 length sleeve shirt (mostly rust colored...not my shade) and a black shirt with blue flowers on it (TOTALLY my colors, and a gorgeous pattern, but the sleeves have a deliberate puff at the shoulder that I hate).
But I'm keeping FIVE tops (same number as last time): a short sleeved top with a tropical print and faux lace trim at the sleeves; a light, short-sleeved shirt in a pretty brown and blue pattern, a simple black and white polka dot 3/4 length sleeve shirt, a short-sleeved shirt with a sort of a peacock feather pattern and a stunning royal blue top with long sleeves and a sequin pattern on the front. I'm not sure if me liking so many of M's clothes is a testament to the classicality of Chico's clothing or an indication that I have "old lady" taste in clothes <g>. Now I'm hoping she cleans out her winter closet and donates some cute sweaters...and a fun colored tank top wouldn't make me mad.
I adore M...and not just because by my calculations, I've probably gotten over $600 worth of tops from her, pre-employee discount 😁
