Young Sheldon. Finally watching this and my friend from high school is right. That *is* me as a child, heh. It's somewhat entertaining, but I'm mainly watching for Annie Potts. I have never seen Big Bang Theory and still have no interest in it. I do enjoy the 1990s time period. Just started S4.
Ed. Premise: Ed catches his wife cheating on him the day he gets fired and returns to small town Ohio and runs a law office out of a bowling alley he owns. It's somewhat like a male Ally McBeal living in Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls). Alas, Ed has some of the same obsessed with a woman vibes as Ross Gellar and Niles Crane (it did air on NBC in the early 2000s), but he's thankfully grown out of it. Alas, Rena Sofer was only on for a few episodes, but I loved her character. I'm about halfway through S2 and there are 4 seasons. It's more comfort food than anything.
The Americans. El Chico and I just finished the first season. Keri Russell's wigs and Margo Martindale are the best part. Last summer, we watched Deustchland 83/86/89, which is a German show inspired by The Americans that's on Hulu, and we both actually sorta like it better... The Americans is good, but we both keep wanting something more from it. (We definitely want more 80s music).
I'm still missing my Desperate Housewives rewatch I finished a couple weeks ago *sigh*
What We Do in the Shadows and Abbott Elementary return in the fall. Cobra Kai final season Part 2 in November and Part 3 next year. Severance in January. Loot S3 to film when Maya Rudolph isn't busy with SNL. Still waiting to find out if my fave current show Acapulco gets a fourth season (looking good but still no word.)
