Early in July I had some pain in my leg, above my ankle. Had my physical already scheduled so I brought it up then and my doctor thought it was my Achilles tendon and recommended I ice it, elevate it, and wear a compression bandage. It seemed to be feeling better, until the last two days where I have been freaking HOBBLING all around.
So I have an appointment with an orthopedist on Friday - think good thoughts that she won't recommend I need to be in a boot for months, because if that's the case I'll put the trip off til next year. I walked 85 miles on my last European trip and I can't imagine I'd be doing much less on this one.
Think good thoughts for me!
maybe the universe *is* telling us not to go...
