since the water authority is growing and it was taking longer and longer to do everything my job entails.
Boss, had some major issues with his eyes and was basically blind for a while (detached retinas). During that time he relied on us to help him reply to emails/letters etc. With me having been there the longest among office staff (other than him) he evidently felt uncomfortable having me help him. So, he started calling on Alissa more and more. And now they seem like bffs.
I admit I did lose my temper with Alissa at one point. She had done late fees but had the wrong time and date. I was rude when I asked her to correct it. Main problem was our website support team had shut down at noon that day. This was around 1pm. I was also suffering from a major headache (bordering on a migraine - which I rarely get). I tried to apologize before we left that day and got "I don't want to talk about it" and yes, that is when things started to change. And they've gotten progressively worse since then.
Yes, he's finally acknowledging there is an issue. But he doesn't want to "confront anyone". You're the freaking manager!
I tried to remind him of my work history - length, admitting and owning mistakes etc. No idea how that went over.
