was out of the office on vacation and enjoying life.
But, coming back to this atmosphere has reinforced my desire to get out of it and into another job.
I spent 3/4 of yesterday returning phone calls. All because boss deliberately let witchy coworker have off the same week as my scheduled 6-7 months in advance vacation.
And ALL of a sudden, I'm being asked to account for the time I spend at our monthly board meetings. Hich, fine, I keep track of it in a little notebook, just like I do my mileage for work stuff. It's more the fact that I've been there almost 10 years and suddenly I have to account for it, when I use it to leave a bit early or come in late. And it was the *WAY* it was done. While I was on vacation, through a snotty-toned email. Which of course I didn't get until yesterday.
The only words spoken to me between yesterday & today was coworker asking why I gave her something in a folder. I replied - you did the billing. I have no clue what is on this bill so you deal with it.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a lot of jobs right now that appear a decent fit for me. There are 1 or 2 I will apply for just to see what happens. The 2 interviews I had right before vacation? Neither one resulted in a job offer.
