I'm going with an older/more established company that will cost about $5K more. The other company planned to avoid doing some things that would make more of a difference in the long run like leveling the tiles on the floor as they went along instead of filling the floor of the room so it would be completely level. (It's currently a screen room so the cement floor has a slight pitch so water won't flow towards the foundation during a heavy rain.) He's also planning to "pre-wire" (how I describe it) so it will be ready for the next phase
if we do it.
We've decided that we're not as interested in having a second full kitchen done; but, we may have an outdoor kitchen with barbecue/pellet grill(?) added as part of the patio if we add that later.
If all goes well, we'll start the project in September and it should be done around February(?). Sooner would be nice, but right is much better.
