since I was in Paris and London but I’d love to get back to both. And Italy, especially Venice and Florence.
I haven't been to Italy yet but it's on the list.
I have always loved cities, since I was a little kid and went to NYC for the first time when I was 10. After that first trip, I had initially wanted to go there for college or live there, and ended up in Washington DC instead. I loved living there. I'm glad I still live close enough to go in every once in a while but it's nothing like actually living there. I can appreciate the countryside but when I want to go overseas it's always to a city. And I think I always want to get an apartment when I stay there because then I can pretend to be a local, for however short a time I have!
Besides the opening ceremony, NBC On Demand via Spectrum cable has all the competitions, divided by sport. So I can just watch the sports I want to (like swimming, diving, surfing, gymnastics) without having to sit through all of the sports. I just have to resist reading any sports news until I have time to watch the day’s events.
I’m glad this is all available via NBC OnDemand. If it was only on Peacock, I would be skipping the whole thing. But since I can watch via NBC OD, I am caught up!
Awesome! I could probably find some stuff on FiOS on demand, too, I haven't looked since I have access to Peacock right now.
