brief time that I was involved in FL real estate, after I inherited my mom’s house, I noticed that a lot of the newly “updated” houses on the market still had upper cabinets. Many were updated to white Shaker cabinets.

Minimal use of the space formerly occupied by upper cabinets is a hard no in NYC unless you have a huge loft or live in the Dakota. Space in NYC apartments must be used efficiently.
