drive in for it. I think the 10 year had the most peeps show up. I wasn't going to go but my best friend made me go and I'm so glad he did. He was like--bro, people are flying in for this and it's a 20 minute drive for us--you're going! It was just all love. No cliques. People I didn't really talk to that much were hugging me like I was their best friend. One girl grabbed me by the hand and dragged me over to another group and was like someone asked if you were here so I grabbed you LOL. There was one awkward incident. One of my friends since junior high (my twin) even though he has red hair and green eyes--we call each other twins because we were both born 12/14/73. Anywho, his wife wanted to dance and my friend said no. Next thing I know, she pulled me onto the dance floor. At first it was all good and then, she started touching me inappropriately. I didn't want to embarrass her so I whispered in her ear--PLEASE stop that! She was smashed. After the song went off, I told her I was hot and needed a drink. My friend had walked off. I immediately went to find him to apologize. He said--you did NOTHING wrong. I saw what happened. This is exactly why we are in the middle of a divorce. I felt bad for him because many people saw her trying to dirty dance with me :-/ It did not affect our friendship at all. He even hung my TVs on the wall when I moved into my townhouse.
We have had:
10, 20, 25 year reunions before they changed to the all class one. For the 10 year reunion, will did a walk thru of our high school. We all LOVED that so much. There was only about 12 of us that showed up but we had a blast. I hadn't been back to my high school in 10 years. Everything was so much smaller π
Oddly enough, someone drowned in our pool and they closed it permanently. This was after I graduated. They also have cameras up now. I'm just glad I made it thru high school when I did because I did experience *some* bullying but now with cyberbullying--I really feel for the kids of today!
