WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT. Sunfyre is DEAD?! What?! Maybe Cole is just wrong and Sunfyre makes his way home somehow? Because as us book readers know (well, and keen observers of GoT, if they remember Joffrey describing Rhaenyra's death) - Aegon feeds Rhaenyra to Sunfyre while a horror-stricken Young Aegon watches. It's the WHOLE reason he hates dragons and a significant part of why all the dragons die.
It was good to see Jace start to think of how they can use the currently riderless dragons - presumably next week, he will think of the dragonseeds. If they end up accidentally killing all their second cousins, I guess. LOL. You can really see what a blow the loss of Jace will be to Team Black, as he's one of the best strategic thinkers.
