Ti West’s trilogy that started with X And Pearl, part of A24’s indie horror roster. This one takes place in 1985 Los Angeles during the time that the Night Stalker was haunting LA. Maxxine is grown up, escaped her small hometown in Texas and is determined to become a famous movie star. Mia Goth is great as Maxxine.

This is the second movie I’ve seen in a theater this week. 😸
