I'm amused by the fact that Alexis Bledel actually has a great-great grandmother whose maiden name is "Gilmore". Also, though I don't know who Chappel Roan is, I respect that she took her grandfather's name as her stage (first) name, and I love that her last name, Roan, comes from the song "The Strawberry Roan". That was one of Dad's favorites long ago, and because he sang it so often, I know most of the words...though he's so tone deaf, I had to hear the record before I knew what the notes actually were <g>.
