Back when I worked at the bindery, the room with most of the computers was the only one that was always air-conditioned on hot days. The bindery had a/c but for many years, they had a (weird) strict rule: no a/c on the factory floor before June 1 or after September 1, no matter what the temperature. What was really annoying was when it was not so much hot as humid. Damp, curling paper is no fun to work with.
