Keurig not being very green. I don’t know whether they existed when we first got a Keurig in the office. But, if they did, I didn’t know about them and neither did anyone else judging by the daily garbage pail full of disposed plastic pods. It was just ironic at the time when, in an effort to be more green, we switched to mugs and disposable plastic Keurig pods at the same time.
I’m okay with Keurig now if people are really using the reusable pods. And it does eliminate all the problems of the shared office coffee pot like: who took the last of the coffee without making more? How long has that coffee been there? It looks kinda thick. And the occasional, who put the pot back with only a tiny drop of coffee left that caused the pot to shatter? And who is going to clean that up?
