to swing by her house and pick up her mail. It was only a *tiny* bit more effort to water their garden; it's a pretty big garden, and it's the husband's pride and joy. The first time I took care of their garden while they were on vacation (last year), hubs left me more detailed instructions than I think most parents leave babysitters <g>. But they're both vegetarian so their summer garden is a primary food source for them. It's understandable that it would mean so much to him...and I felt horrible when I had to tell him that one day while they were gone, we had really high winds that caused both a pepper plant and a tomato plant to bend over to the point of snapping. The tomato plant recovered, the pepper plant did not.
Hint water is pretty much the only flavored water I actually enjoy drinking I don't like sparkling water all that much, and most of the other non-fizzy flavored waters have a strong artificial taste. Hint water literally tastes like the fruit it's flavored with (except maybe the new grape flavor...that one tastes more like grape candy than actual grapes to me). My favorite flavor is mango (followed closely by blackberry) but recently, the only store that carries Hint water in mango flavor is Heinen's. I was shocked Thursday when not only did they have mango flavor, they had the water on sale 10 for $10. Hint water, like most everything else, has steadily risen in price over the last couple years, going from $1 a bottle to around $1.79 at most places (when it's not on sale).
Not to keep rambling on about bottled water but <g>...I sometimes feel guilty for buying all those bottles of water and creating all that plastic waste (though I do recycle the bottles faithfully). Once I bought one of those tiny bottles of concentrated flavor--Stur water drops, in blue and blackberry flavor--but even though it's sweetened with stevia, which is "natural", it still tastes too fake for me.
