As a kid I loved RC Cola but now I do not like it.
In the South, "RC Cola and a moon pie" is a common pairing. I've never liked RC Cola though...and tbh, I don't really care for moon pies either.
I do not like Coke but I love Cherry Coke.
Somewhere shortly after college, I switched allegiance from Pepsi to Coke. My favorite Coke flavor comes from a Freestyle dispenser: half regular Coke, half Coke Zero with lime. I like Cherry Coke but prefer making my own "flavored" vanilla Coke (a few drops of vanilla extract--the store bought version isn't quite as good, IMO). When I was in high school and college, a friend and I both liked to add a "shot" of chocolate syrup to Coke or Pepsi.
Does anyone remember Crystal Pepsi?
I do! I thought it got a bad rep...I didn't think it tasted different but folks expected it to because of the coloring. Kind of like when Heinz (I think it was) introduced green and blue and purple ketchup; the taste is fine but your brain sees the color and automatically expects the differently colored ketchup to taste different.
I miss Coca Cola Life. It was a nice blend of full octane Coke and zero sugar Coke...usually the artificially flavored soft drinks taste icky to me because of the artificial sweetener, no matter what that sweetener is.
