..I had ZERO business having a credit card. ZERO. I got into so much trouble with it: store charge cards, other credit cards, not paying the bill always on time.
Years later, when I tried to get my credit back up, I started with a limit of $500.00. I just wanted to rebuild my credit after paying off my debt. Capital One. I've had that card for maybe 20 years and it's gone from $500 to a $7,000 limit and I didn't even ask them to do that. These days, I have a debit card and two credit cards: my Capital One and my emergency card that gets charged two subscriptions so they don't close it for no use. They're always asked to raise the limit on that card and I'm like no, that limit is just fine.
