95 Noth and South have been closed all day and will probably be closed through the weekend.
The fire spread to the bridge over the road and now the bridge is unsafe and needs to be taken down.
Happened in Norwalk, CT where I live. half the town is on 1 side of 95 and half on the other. There are not that may ways to cross or go under 95, and the whole city is shutting down due to the traffic on Route 1 and the back roads.
There are large sections of the city who don't have cable/internet/phone because Frontier's cable lines - along with other electric, cable and telecommunication wires were routed under the bridge and they all burned up.
