A little girl was in trouble and he jumped in and got her closer to land and she was rescued. Sadly, he drowned. It was on a lake. He exerted so much energy swimming out and back, he went under and they just couldn't find him in time. He was only 26. But he died a hero. The little girl and her family came to his funeral.
