John Carpenter's version from 1982, not the questionable prequel from 2011. "Night Country" pays a lot of homage to it, even has some of the same character names.
I enjoyed the finale. I loved that the ratings rose with each episode while the old show creator was steadily throwing his temper tantrums over it. He was such a baby. Lopez is doing a season 5 and a part of me would like to see her use these characters in it. But then another part of me doesn't want to see them suffer anymore, like poor Peter. I can't see him surviving another season. 😂
