I remember I had a peer use profanity once with me and then 20 mins later asked for my help with an escalation. I started to tell him no--but I'm a leader so I had to be professional. I did eventually tell him, to not ever address me with profanity at work. His reply: Okay. It won't happen again.

So I just documented it. Eventually he got fired 2 years later for an outburst with our manager. Sometimes karma is a little late--but it eventually shows up.
