about how Columbo got the murderer. There were a lot of scenes of Columbo questioning the murderer. Both Columbo and the audience always knew who the murderer was. The mystery and big reveal was: what detail was the murderer’s big mistake? Elsbeth sounds very Columboesque. I haven’t seen Elsbeth yet but I always enjoyed Columbo.
