I don't think Fuhrman planted anything. He didn't have time.

He wasn't morally above it, he simply didn't have time. People saw the one glove at Bundy even before he did. If he'd somehow found another, he isn't going to risk spiriting it away when at the time he'd need to do it, he wouldn't even KNOW if OJ had a solid alibi with 100+ witnesses, not uncommon with OJ. Hell, OJ could've been on TV.

There wasn't any blood missing - the problem was, the technician didn't record the amount of blood taken because it wasn't common practice back then. So when he was asked how much he took, he guessed "around" 8 mL, meaning it easily could have been 6.5. And there was no definitive evidence there even WAS EDTA in the blood - there are three markers to confirm, that blood only had two. If it was, it was in amounts far too small to have actually been preserved by the police. EDTA is in a lot of things that can make their way into blood.

Fuhrman pleading the Fifth about that isn't actually indicative of anything, because he'd been told to plead the Fifth throughout the hearing by his attorney. He'd committed perjury. Once you plead the Fifth, no lawyer with two brain cells to rub together would advise you to answer any questions, even if they appear to be unrelated, because once you do, attorneys can loop back to the crime you did commit. He was even asked, directly before he was asked about planting evidence, if he intended to plead the Fifth to every question asked. He said yes, and they knew they had him.
