I am not surprised that they went there with Buck. I am more surprised that it took seven seasons. The vibes have been there since Eddie showed up. Fans started shipping them almost immediately. I knew nothing was going to happen there--especially once their bromance became so solid. But the way the writers did this was ass-backward. So it took jealousy over Tommy and Eddie bonding and hanging out to force Buck's feelings to the surface? Like, come on. It was all so heavy-handed vs being organic. It would have made way more sense if Buck and Tommy were spending tons of time together, vibing, and then he's like wow. This guy is so cool. We are kindred spirits. I've never felt this way before. Tommy picks up on it and then still kisses him. Like I said, the execution sucked here. They were way too heavy with the Eddie/Tommy stuff. It was not believable at all. Eddie/Buck are best friends, yet Eddie ignored him while on the phone with Tommy? He didn't put up a finger asking for one moment. He didn't say, give me five minutes Buck I'm about to wrap up this call. He looked at him and continued his conversation as if Buck was an insurance salesman.
As far as if Buck is gay, bi, or curious? That remains to be seen. My gut tells me they are going to go with sexual fluid aka pansexual. Maybe I'll be wrong but that is my prediction. And at the start of the show, Buck even used the word fluid.
And this is going to sound bad of me and I own that, I just wish they had chosen someone hotter than LFJ as the man who got Buck's antenna up. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and LFJ is not unattractive, but he definitely isn't my taste.
As far as the new Harry. As the episode went on, I got more used to him. I do miss the daughter. And in case you didn't know, the actor who originated the role of Harry asked to leave the show. He was ready to move on to other projects.
