It's a show that takes place in Palm Beach in the 1960s. Kristin Wiig (and her horrible attempt at a southern accent) is trying to make a name for herself among the elite while stealing from a woman on her death bed (played by Carol Brunette). Ricky Martin (slightly better than his days as Miguel Morez on GH, but he's a better singer than actor) is a bartender at the exclusive country club, Allison Janney is one of the women of the upper elite, and Laura Dern is a feminist with a secret of her own.
The fourth episode aired this week, and it was the first episode that was truly firing on all cylinders for me. It's kind of a Desperate Housewives/Gossip Girl mix, but doesn't live up either show. But it has potential. I think the first three episodes were all world building, and it'll start to pay off now.
