long discussion with my gynecological oncologist for me to accept that zapping my whole body with chemo “just to be sure” was not in my best interest. Other oncologists agreed with him. I went with their advice. And here I am, alive and kicking, 11 years later. But there are different kinds of cancers, some very aggressive, some not as aggressive.

Whatever her situation, I wish Kate the best possible outcome.
