A lot of them have a plaque with their name on a seat on the "short bus." I don't recall when I've seen so many mistakes and people who just were clueless. The twins....wow! That was a mess. I do not see Chris and his daughter lasting very long. Sadly, I just think it will be too strenuous for him. He's not going to beat anyone in a foot race.
LOL. Agreed. But you never know when the editing is making it look worse than it is for some of them. In this kind of competition reality show, the editors are the storytellers. Maybe some teams get a bad start but pull it together and right themselves. I root for that.
As for the car getting wedged, I haven’t driven a car in decades and I was like, duh, why didn’t they just back up? Getting out and picking the car up would have been easier than trying to turn around on that street.
I am fairly certain when Phil announces they are still racing, he doesn't award a prize for first, but I agree it's unfortunate. What if they never get first again? At least they could have earned some money or a free trip.
I don’t always retain the nuances of TAR rules. But it felt unfair to me. I think when the leg isn’t finished and they are continuing racing, if #1 team gets no prize, then #last team shouldn’t be eliminated until that leg is finished. I hope that first team stays in first place and gets a prize.
