I forgot to bring my "dressy" Skechers, so I had to walk over in a pair of low heels and ouch. I have arthitis in my left big toe, and I am so not used to heels now, so at first I thought I was going to fall over. Yep, giving all those shoes away.
Our testimony at the hearing was done by a former health and human services policy specialist, beloved in the aging and disability community, who retired in 2022.
Everyone was so impressed that we snagged him as a volunteer. I was like, yup, uh huh, we got PH :)
