I loved the first season. I understand the criticisms the show has gotten...that Eugene is a wealthy actor who gets to travel around and stay in these five star places the average person could never visit. But Eugene is fun and the places are beautiful.
Okay, I'd get it if the show were saying it was about "traveling on a dime" and then having everything comped at 5 star resorts because they're doing a TV show but I just read the description and this show isn't that. It doesn't seem to hide that it's about spectacular places.
It reminds me of people who criticize people who wear designer as if they're wearing expensive close AT people instead of just wearing clothes.
There are people who actually weaponize wealth and should be criticized but I love a show like this because I won't be able to access luxury. I love living vicariously.
