family--or even a medium-size family--to budget for meals out. He used to mention our lead pastor, who's married with four kids, three of whom were (not too long ago) teenage boys (they also have a daughter who's the youngest of the children). Unless kindly congregation members took the family out to eat on their dime, meals out weren't really happening.
I'm bummed that a pizza place in town seems to have done away with its dollar slices from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM on weekdays. Granted, the "slices" were smallish squares from a square pizza rather than a triangular slice from a round pizza but honestly, I'd get three slices from three different pizzas (it was set up like a buffet) and buy a can of Coke which was also $1 and be good. Hard to find even fast food for $4 for an entire meal.
